Dina walks into the now-infamous Coffee & Company in Colombo 03 with her fellow Rotaract club members, expecting nothing more than a casual hangout. But sometimes, the most ordinary days carry the beginnings of something extraordinary.
Across the room stood a boy who had just arrived in Sri Lanka — and in a fleeting, almost cinematic moment, their eyes met. Something unspoken, yet undeniable.
A deck of cards, a quiet spark ♠️♥️
With a quiet confidence (and perhaps a little help from fate), Imran made his way over and introduced himself. As it turned out, they shared mutual friends from the same Rotaract fraternity — the very reason this gathering had come together.
The group soon settled into a game of cards. Dina, charmingly out of her element, had no idea how to play. Sensing his perfect opportunity, Imran offered to teach her. What began as a simple lesson over a deck of cards slowly unfolded into something much more meaningful.
A friendship that grew into forever
That evening marked the start of a friendship — one filled with laughter, late conversations, shared dreams, and countless memories that quietly stitched their lives together over the years.
